Aloha 22 in Ponta Mamoli sets the scene for a perfect family beach holiday with the relaxing rhythm of lapping waves, breathtaking tranquil paradise, the sun peeking through the clouds illuminates the sky in a dazzling glow. A vacation you will remember forever.

Sleeping Arrangements

Aloha 22 sleeps 10 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 – 1 Queen size bed. En-suite. Air-Conditioned.
Bedroom 2/3 – 4 single beds between the 2 rooms. 1 x En-suite. Air-Conditioned.
Interleading (can be locked or kept open). The beds can be set up as 2 single beds in each room or put together as a King-size bed.
Bedroom 4 – 1 Queen size bed. En-suite. Air-Conditioned.
Bedroom 5 – 1 Queen size bed. En-suite. Air-Conditioned.

Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with ceiling fans, bedside tables, and bedside lamps.
The en-suite bathrooms have a shower, basin, and toilet.
All linen is provided and bath towels are provided.

Your Space

Aloha house 22 offers 4 en-suite bedrooms sleeping, 10 guests. Set up as a lodge style, the home has 4 separate buildings and being a beachfront house, they all have sea views and open up to the large outdoor terrace with a private swimming pool and gazebo area. (Swimming pool Does NOT have safety nets)
From here, you can view the shimmering waves of the sea that are clear blue and mirror the hot sun’s rays. The refreshing breeze that emanates from the seawaters is enjoyable.

The living area has an open-plan kitchen and lounge.
The lounge has a TV with a full DSTV.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a
Gas hob.
Oven.
Microwave.
Ice machine.
Fridge.
Freezer.
Washing machine.
Crockery and cutlery for 10 people.
And all the equipment that you would require in a kitchen for self-catering.

There is a large dining room table in the living area.
Built-in braai facilities at the property.
Charcoal and wood are for sale on site. Please ask Luther.

There is a water filter at the prep bowl in the kitchen. Only this water is drinkable. Teeth can be brushed with water in the bedrooms but are not to be consumed.
We do recommend bottled water that you need to bring with you.

The washing machine is to be operated by the staff only. If you would like laundry done it is R150 per load. Washing liquid is provided.

Frederico’s snorkelling spot is a short 10-minute stroll down the beach.
Ensure you take snorkelling gear along!

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Aloha Beach Estate, otherwise secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. Thereafter you will have to make use of the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff Tip –

There is a compulsory daily staff tip – R 70.00 per housekeeper per day, this includes your day of arrival and departure.
Ivone is your housekeeper. Her duties include cleaning, washing dishes, making beds, and general cleaning. The staff doesn’t do any cooking.
Her working hours are 7:00 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and
7 am to 12 on Saturdays.
If you would like her to work Saturday afternoon, you need to pay her R 75.00 for the afternoon and if you would like her to work on Sundays and Public Holidays, you need to pay them R 150.00 each for those days.
Working hours include 1-hour lunch.
Please ensure you have enough Rands cash on your day of departure date.

Other Things To Note –

Please take note that the swimming pool does not have a child safety net.
Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the Ponta Malongane village It is advisable to bring OR buy bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system, don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 4000.00 payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
An R 800.00 charge will be levied for early check-in and late check-outs (2:30 pm – Latest).
No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
*Service fees are non-refundable.
