CASA BELLA WAKENE BEACH ESTATE

Casa Bella is a seaside house tucked within the highest dune at Wakene beach estate, offering 360-degree unhindered views of the endless forest canopy. A mere 300 meters away from the beach Casa Bella is a perfect fit for nature and ocean lovers.

Situated among the endless beaches of Ponta Malongane, Casa Bella at Wakene Beach Estate is located on 18 acres of Coastal Dune Forest with its own beachfront, 2 km North of Ponta Malongane, 7 km from Ponta do Oura, and 15km from the Kosi bay border.

Sleeping Arrangements

Casa Bella sleeps 10 guests in 4 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 – Double bed – En-suite.
Bedroom 2 – Double bed.
Bedroom 3 – 2 Single beds + Bunk bed – sleep, 4 people.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom.
2 additional single beds are in the lounge area.

All linen and bath towels are provided.

Your Space

Casa Bella is fully serviced with cleaning materials, linen, and bath towels as well as a full-time housekeeper.
Spanning 3 levels.
The 1st level offers a covered car park under the building with a full separate storeroom.
The 2nd level has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and the 3rd level is nestled in the dune canopy which has a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, there is a full living area with indoor dining and a lounge.
Off the top floor living area is a wrap-around open deck with an alfresco dining table and a braai area on one side.

The kitchen has all the conveniences for self-catering.
Gas oven and stove.
Electric oven and hob.
2 x 170 liter Fridge/ freezer.
Chest freezer.
Microwave.
4 slice toaster.
Kettle.
Washing Machine.
Tumble dryer.

Rates

Breakage deposit – R 2000.00
Minimum of 2 nights stay and a minimum of 4 adults charge during low season.
Children 4-12 years – half price
Children 0-3 years – no charge
Minimum of 7 nights stay during peak season. Unit rate applies.
Rates are subject to change.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Wakene Beach Estate, otherwise secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. Thereafter you will have to make use of the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff  Service Fee – 
Casa Bella at Wakene Beach Estate is serviced by a housekeeper once a day. 
There is a compulsory daily staff Fee.
R 150.00 per day per staff member (1).
This includes the day of arrival and the day of departure.
This will be added to your invoice for pre-payment.
The staff make beds, sweep, mop, wash dishes, clean bathrooms, etc.
The staff leave at 14h30.
Clients can discuss earlier departure times with staff.
Tipping other staff members on the estate such as
security and maintenance is not mandatory but is up to your discretion.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the Ponta Malongane village It is advisable to bring OR buy bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system, don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 2000.00 payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
An R 800.00 charge will be levied for early check-in and late check-outs (2:30 pm – Latest).
No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Will be sent with reservation form.
