Golden Beach Village is located at the start of the Ponta Malongane area and offers 15 self-catering Air-conditioned Beach Villas that are designed to provide a relaxing and resting environment for people seeking to break the routine of daily city and work.
Golden Beach Village has a swimming pool as well as a kiddie’s pool at the restaurant.
The Villas at Golden Beach Village are raised on stilts up on the dunes.
There is a communal wooden beach walkway and 220 stairs that lead down to the beach.

Sea View Villas at Golden Beach Village. The Sea View Villas are raised on stilts so that all these Villas have a sea view.

Your Space

All bedrooms at Golden Beach Village are en suite and have 2 single beds that can be moved together to form a king-size bed or pushed apart to make 2 singles,
All Villas have a flat-screen TV with DSTV (please take note it’s the Hotel Bouquet and not full DStv), are Air-conditioned, braai on the outside deck with outside furniture for dining, have Complimentary toiletries, and are serviced daily.
A fully equipped kitchen in each Villa.

This Mozambique-styled resort offers a poolside snack bar and there is a restaurant if you don’t feel like self-catering.
The restaurant area has a swimming pool.
The on-site restaurant serves national and international cuisine, while the bar provides a variety of drinks and cocktails.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 or 2×4 with a diff lock vehicle is essential for access to the area and to Kangela Estate, otherwise secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. Thereafter you will have to make use of the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case.
Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes.
Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices.
The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village and it is advisable to bring bottled drinking water.

Please note we use a septic system and don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper.
Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the Reception office at Golden Beach Village after 2 pm. They should be dropped off again on the date of departure between 8 am and 10 am.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT to be paid on arrival. R 750.00 per villa, 2 to 6 sleepers, and R 1500.00 per 8 sleeper villa.
Refundable on departure.
Any breakages lost keys, and remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm. 
Any later and they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.

Please take note that no extra guests will be allowed over and above the maximum occupancy of a house – any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if additional guests are staying at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.

No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities are strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, Homeowner, and the Estate booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and or death.

Swimming in the Ocean
We would like to extend a crucial reminder to all visitors planning to swim in the beautiful waters of Mozambique. 
While the allure of Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack signpost warnings and are not equipped with lifeguards,
significantly increasing the risks associated with swimming.
One of the most significant dangers to be aware of is the presence of rip tides.
These powerful currents can swiftly pull even the strongest swimmers out to sea, posing a grave threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, it is vital to remain vigilant and heed any natural warnings such as sudden changes in water color or unusually strong currents.
In light of these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and refrain from swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the power of the ocean.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
