Kangela Beach Estate – Searching for that well-deserved holiday home – You will find it at Kangela Estate. Our well equipped Holiday Homes at Kangela Beach Estate in Ponta Malongane are surrounded by enormous diversity with endless golden beaches and friendly people. Kangela Estate Beach homes are bright and breezy, with spectacular sea views, warm ocean breezes, and breathtaking sunrises from most of the houses. Nestled in the coastal town of Ponta Malongane this is one of the most “sort-after” estates in the area. All self-catering houses at Kangela Beach Estate have their own parking and are situated close to the beautiful uninterrupted Ponta Malongane beach.
Kangela Beach Estate is about a half-hour (20 km) sand road drive from the Kosi Bay Border, you slip the car into 4×4 mode to take on the sandy roads. A 4×4 vehicle or 2×4 with a diff lock will be needed to access the area and Kangela Beach Estate. The Ponta Malongane Dive camp is located about 200 meters from the estate’s gate.

150 km south of Maputo and about 50 km north of Ponta Malongane, is the Maputo Elephant Reserve (officially known as “Maputo Special Reserve” or in Portuguese “Reserva Especial de Maputo”). The reserve can only be traversed with a 4×4 and is part of the Lubombo Transfrontier Conservation Area – a project joining areas in countries of Mozambique, South Africa, and Swaziland. Although not a “Big 5” game reserve, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebra, Crocodiles, Antelope, Flamingos, and a wide variety of birds can be spotted in this unspoiled reserve, whilst efforts to restock wildlife is an ongoing process.
