In using this website www.pontamalongane.com, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Prices displayed on rates pages, and special offers displayed throughout the site, are intended as the best possible guide but do not constitute a firm offer or a guarantee of rates for any particular stay. Likewise, any rates shown during the initial enquiry process (i.e. before a supplier has replied with a quote for a specific stay) are intended as the best possible guide but do not constitute a firm offer or a guarantee of rates.

All bookings are subject to the relevant Homeowners and/or the Estate reservation conditions. Customers are responsible for reading and understanding these conditions, which are provided at the time of booking. Nothing on this website represents an offer from pontamalongane.com or its suppliers.

Homeowners and/or the Estate reservations may accept or decline any customer offer.
All arrangements are subject to availability until specifically confirmed. pontamalongane.com provides no guarantees regarding the availability of any featured arrangements. A booking is only confirmed when the Homeowner and/or the Estate reservation accepts the customer’s offer and pontamalongane.com communicates this acceptance to the customer.

Pontamalongane.com acts as an intermediary between customers and Homeowners and/or the Estate reservation. While we aim to provide current and accurate information, final booking terms are subject to the Homeowner and/or the Estate reservation conditions and availability.
We reserve the right to update our website content and booking processes as needed to reflect current Homeowner and/or the Estate reservation policies and market conditions.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment terms vary based on the booking date.
Proforma invoices are valid for 24 hours, and rates may change without notice.
For arrivals within one month of booking, full payment is due immediately to Pontamalongane.com.
For arrivals beyond one month, a 50% deposit is required.
The remaining 50% payment is due 30 days before arrival.
Failure to provide proof of this payment will result in cancellation.

Bookings for stays between 1 December and 31 January require full payment by 15 October of that year.
Proof of payment must be emailed to res@Pontamalongane.com within 48 hours to avoid automatic cancellation.

Cancellation policies vary by Homeowner and are specified on each listing. This will be sent out with an invoice when a customer makes a reservation.

Some Homeowners may require a refundable breakage deposit.
Note: Establishments will require a refundable breakage deposit.
Breakage Deposit refunds can take up to 2 weeks to be paid back.
If your reservation is for December or Early January, the breakage refunds are only paid in January as the accounts department is closed during Dec.

All bank charges, including cash deposits, credit cards, and foreign payments, are the customer’s responsibility.
Bank charges are non-refundable.
Credit card payments are subject to a 3% service charge on each transaction.
Credit card refunds incur a R150.00 service fee.

Ponta Malongane Accommodation Commission is non-refundable.
Ponta Malongane Accommodation does not accept responsibility for accommodations or trips featured on the website.
Any complaints should be directed to the Homeowner or activity supplier.

South African residents booking through Ponta Malongane Accommodation for travel to foreign countries must provide additional information for bank submissions, including (a) passport copies, (b) flight details, (c) travel purpose (business or pleasure), (d) physical address, and (e) contact numbers and email addresses.

ACCESS AND USE OF SERVICE

Ponta Malongane Accommodation has the absolute right and discretion to discontinue or suspend the website and/or any services related thereto without any notice to the Homeowner or customer.
Ponta Malongane Accommodation has the absolute right and discretion to terminate or suspend a service provided to any Homeowner or customer.

LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

The access and use of the website are at the risk of the Homeowner and customers. Ponta Malongane Accommodation is hereby indemnified and held harmless against any loss or damages suffered by the Homeowner and/or the customer that may arise through the use of the website, subject to any rights that the Homeowner and/or customer may have in terms of any provision of the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008.

The Homeowner and/or customer specifically indemnified Ponta Malongane Accommodation against all costs, losses, and/or damage whether actual, contingent, or prospective which may be incurred, sustained, or suffered by Ponta Malongane Accommodation by reason of any breach of any act of parliament, regulation, ordinance and/or by-law on the part of the Homeowner or the customer or their authorized agents.

The Homeowners and/or the Estate reservation/and customer specifically indemnified Ponta Malongane Accommodation against all costs, losses and/ damage whether actual, contingent or prospective which may be incurred, sustained and/or suffered as a result of personal injuries to, or the death of, any person whomever, including but not limited to the customer, or any injury or damage of whatsoever nature to any property real or personal, caused by a customer, their agent or any other third party in the course of using Ponta Malongane Accommodation services or arising therefrom.

FORCE MAJEURE

No party shall be held liable for any failure to fulfill their obligations under this agreement if such failure is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. These circumstances include but are not limited to, acts of God, terrorism, war, political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, acts of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood, or any other natural or man-made event that could not have been reasonably foreseen.

Such events must directly cause the termination of this agreement or make its fulfillment impossible. The affected party shall promptly inform the other party of the occurrence of such an event and shall make all reasonable efforts to comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement to the extent possible under the circumstances.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ponta Malongane Accommodation may make future changes to these terms and conditions, including changes to its services, without notice to the Homeowners and/or the Estate reservation or customer. The Homeowners and/or the Estate reservation and customer hereby agree to accept and be bound by any changes made to these terms and conditions from time to time by Ponta Malongane Accommodation.

Travel insurance is advisable (Cancellation Insurance).
The client undertakes to take the necessary malaria precautions.
The client undertakes to obtain a Valid Passport – It is IMPORTANT to check that the passports are valid before paying for your reservation.
Passports must be valid for 1 month after the return date for South African passport holders and 6 months after the return date for international passport holders.
Take Note that South African passports for Adults are valid for 10 years and 5 years for Children.
A regular tourist passport contains 32 pages.

Tourist passports: persons 16 years and older and maxi tourist passports are only issued to SA citizens 16 years or older. These passports are valid for 10 years.

Tourist passports: persons under 16 years are issued to SA citizens who are aged 15 years or younger. These passports are valid for 5 years.

Passports cannot be renewed. Once the validity period of a passport expires you will have to submit a new application for a passport.
Passports must be valid for 30 days after the intended date of departure.
Ensure that your passport has two blank pages – one for the visa and one for an entry stamp.
Passports should also have at least two blank pages for entry stamps.
The blank pages cannot include the “endorsement” page at the back of the book.

If you need a visa, you must ensure that your passport has two blank-facing pages – one for the visa and one for an entry stamp.

No refunds or postponements will be permitted if you or any member of your booking group does not have a valid passport.
Visa required for Non-SA Passport Holders.
Please note that should a visa be denied, no refunds or postponements will be permitted.

Children under the age of 18 years – Parents traveling internationally with children would now be requested to provide an unabridged birth certificate
(including the details of the child’s father as well as the mother) of all traveling children. This applies even when both
parents are traveling with their children and it also applies to foreigners and South Africans alike.
When children are traveling with guardians, these adults are required to produce affidavits from both parents providing
permission for the children to travel.
Parents need to note that unabridged birth certificate applications can take anything from six to eight
weeks to complete and sometimes longer.
Ponta Malongane Accommodation www.pontamalongane.com does not accept responsibility for the accommodation or trips featured on the site.
If during the holiday you have any reason for complaint or dissatisfaction you should
contact the establishment manager on-site or activity supplier so that remedial action may be taken.

The agreement is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God,
terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, the act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood, Pandemic
or any other natural or man-made eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into,
nor which could have been reasonably foreseen.
Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavors
to comply with the terms and conditions of any Agreement contained herein.
It is not allowed to sell or consume alcoholic beverages on any of the beaches in Mozambique.
