Located within Aloha Estate, this spacious private villa offers approximately 100 meters of beach frontage, spectacular Indian Ocean views, a private 8-meter circular rim-flow swimming pool and direct beach access.

Designed for large families and groups of friends, Aloha 5 combines spacious indoor and outdoor entertainment areas with luxurious private bedroom suites. The property features multiple viewing decks, outdoor lounges, a fire pit, large dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor bar, pizza oven, and braai facilities.

The six bedrooms are arranged in private pods connected to the main entertainment area by walkways, providing guests with both privacy and easy access to the central living and dining spaces.

Whether you are looking for luxury accommodation in Ponta Malongane, a spacious beachfront holiday house in Mozambique, or accommodation for a large group, Aloha 5 offers a private coastal getaway overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The private bedrooms are separate pods connected by walkways to the main entertainment area, offering privacy while still being close to the central living and dining areas.

Aloha 5 is located approximately 60 minutes from the Kosi Bay border, within Aloha Estate. The road to Aloha 5 is sandy and a 4×4 vehicle is required to access the estate. Please reduce tire pressure by approximately 1.2–1.5 bar when traveling on the sandy roads.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Aloha 5 is a private and modern villa sleeping up to 20 guests in 6 beautifully appointed bedrooms.
Please note: The bedrooms are not all under one roof. Each bedroom is a separate pod away from the main kitchen and lounge area.

Bedroom 1 – 100 m²
California King
The ultimate in privacy and luxury, this spacious glass-fronted suite features a private veranda and a California King bed with oversized pillows and Egyptian cotton linen. 
The suite has an elegant contemporary design with chandeliers, feather sofas, and mirrored accents. 
The granite bathroom features a large shower and a chandelier-lit bathtub with beautiful ocean views. It includes individual washbasins with illuminated LED mirrors, a hairdryer, a separate toilet, and a bidet.

Bedroom 2 – 72 m²
California King 
A beautifully styled suite with a private veranda and spectacular uninterrupted 180° sea views.
The room features a luxurious California King bed with oversized pillows and Egyptian cotton linen and overlooks the milkwood trees and crystal-clear Indian Ocean. 
The suite includes air conditioning and high-performance fans, a desk, a bedside lamp, and an emergency light. 
The en-suite bathroom has a large shower, an illuminated LED mirror, and a separate toilet.

Bedroom 3 – 72 m² 
California King
A beautifully styled suite with a private veranda and spectacular uninterrupted 180° sea views.
The room features a luxurious California King bed with oversized pillows and Egyptian cotton linen, overlooking the crystal-clear Indian Ocean. 
The suite includes air conditioning and high-performance fans, a desk, a bedside lamp, and an emergency light.

¾ Beds – 6 beds 
This bedroom accommodates up to 6 guests in six comfortable ¾ beds, with oversized pillows and Egyptian cotton linen. 
The room has air conditioning and high-performance fans, a desk, and an emergency light. 
The granite en-suite bathroom has a separate dressing area, hairdryer, and illuminated LED mirror.

Bedroom 5

This bedroom accommodates up to 6 guests in six comfortable ¾ beds, with oversized pillows and Egyptian cotton linen.
The room has air conditioning and high-performance fans, a desk and emergency light.

Bedroom 6 – 55 m²
California King
A comfortable ocean-facing suite with a private veranda and a California King bed, oversized pillows, and Egyptian cotton linen.
The suite has a comfortable feather-couch seating area, desk, air conditioning, high-performance fans, bedside lamp, and emergency light.
The en-suite bathroom includes a shower, washbasin, and toilet, plus an illuminated LED mirror and hairdryer.

Please do not move beds or mattresses from one bedroom to another, as this can cause damage.

YOUR SPACE – ENTERTAINMENT AREA

The entertainment area combines sophisticated chandeliers, sculptures and fine art with contemporary décor.
The spacious lounges and dining area can be closed off with sliding glass doors, creating a warmer, more comfortable atmosphere on cooler evenings.
Guests can enjoy spectacular ocean views while relaxing with a book from the property’s library.
A large bar is positioned in the lounge area, making it ideal for entertaining and watching sport or movies on the TV with FULL DStv.
The indoor oak dining tables comfortably seat 20 guests.
A separate toilet and basin are located in the main building.

The fully equipped kitchen and scullery provide everything needed to prepare meals for a large group.

OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT

The outdoor entertainment area includes a wood-burning pizza oven and gas braai.
The outdoor bar, complete with an ice machine, overlooks the spectacular 8-meter circular rim-flow swimming pool, which features a water feature, seating stools in the pool and an entertainment platform.
Pool loungers are provided.
Two large outdoor lounge areas and outdoor dining tables comfortably seat up to 20 guests.
Please bring your own beach chairs and beach umbrellas if you would like to use them on the beach.

A fire pit is situated at the bottom of the property.
Please bring your own firewood.

The total roofed area is just under 1,000 m².

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT

A R 10 000.00 refundable breakage deposit is payable one month before arrival.
We refund the deposit within 14 days of departure.

We will deduct the cost of any breakages, lost keys, and/or lost remotes from the deposit. We will refund the remaining balance to your bank account.
Please report any breakages to the Manager or housekeepers before departure.
If you discover anything broken on your first day, please report it to the housekeeper immediately so we can record it.

STAFF
Maryna and her dedicated team are committed to providing guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 
Housekeeping and maintenance staff are available to assist guests, and night security is in place every night.
Staff tips are not compulsory; however, a gratuity of R25–R50 per staff member per day is suggested and may be handed to the Manager.
Two ladies are available to assist with chopping and food preparation. 
They do not cook.
Please supply all your own ingredients, including spices, oil, and other cooking requirements.

Staff Hours

Tuesday to Saturday: 07:00–16:00
Sunday and Monday: 07:00–12:00
If you need kitchen staff assistance outside these hours, they may be available for up to 3 additional hours per day at R 40.00 per hour. Please arrange this with the Manager.
Housekeeping staff can assist with washing at R 150.00 per bundle. Please arrange this with the Manager.
The estate uses borehole water, which can sometimes be brownish in color and may stain washing.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: If you are booking Aloha 5 together with additional houses at Aloha or in the surrounding area, guests from other houses are not permitted to gather or have meals at Aloha 5. The house infrastructure cannot accommodate additional groups.

Under no circumstances may Aloha 5 be booked for any function or event, including:
Birthday parties
Weddings
Functions
Events

If a group of young guests books the property, no guests under 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision from someone over 25 staying at the home. Passports will be checked before arrival.

4×4 ACCESS

A 4×4 vehicle is essential for accessing Aloha Estate.
The road is sandy, so reduce tire pressure by about 1.2–1.5 bar when traveling on the sand.
2×4 vehicles will not be permitted on the estate.
If you do not have a 4×4 vehicle, secure parking is available on the South African side of the Kosi Bay border, with border transfers available at an additional cost.
Please contact us to arrange border transfers from the Kosi Bay Border.

SWIMMING POOL

Please do not dive into the swimming pool.
The pool has no safety net or other safety features, and all use of the pool and associated facilities is strictly at your own risk.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using or being around the pool.
No glass is permitted in the pool area.
Please rinse sand from your feet before entering the pool.

BEACH ACCESS

Please use the designated walkways when accessing the beach. This helps protect the dunes from erosion.

GENERAL

If you are flying into Maputo, there are large shopping malls including Woolworths, Checkers and Game.
There is a grocery store, butchery and bottle store in Malongane, together with a number of restaurants and barracas (bars).

Cleaning materials are provided.
Pool and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
No glass is permitted around the swimming pool. We provide wheat-straw tableware and plastic glasses for use around the pool.
No smoking is permitted indoors. Ashtrays are provided outdoors.
Massages are not available on site but may be arranged through the Manager, subject to availability.

POWER & GENERATOR

Power cuts in the area can occur and are generally outside of our control.
The generator is for EMERGENCY use only.
It can operate:

Lights
One kettle
A TV
Possibly one or two fridges

It cannot operate air conditioners or geysers.
Please bring torches as a precaution.

WIFI, TV & CELLULAR RECEPTION

WiFi, TV, and air conditioning are provided; however, Aloha 5 is in a remote area, and occasional technical problems can occur. 
If a technical issue occurs, please report it to the staff so that the homeowner can be notified. 
Repairs may take some time if a technician needs to travel to the property.
Cellphone reception can also be limited. Signal is generally better from some of the higher points on the dunes.
You can buy Mozambique SIM cards and data in the local Ponta Malongane area.

WATER & SEPTIC SYSTEM

The estate uses borehole water, which can sometimes appear brownish in colour. 
If you prefer bottled drinking water, it is available in Ponta Malongane.
We recommend bringing or buying bottled drinking water.

The property uses a septic system. Please flush only toilet paper, and do not flush anything else down the toilets.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in: 14:00–18:00
Check-out: 10:00 
Late Check-out 
Late check-out is available on request only and depends on whether the house is required for an incoming booking. 
If approved, a late check-out fee of R 3000.00 will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit, with check-out no later than 15:00. 
If guests remain after the agreed late check-out time, the full breakage deposit will be retained. 
Please adhere to the agreed check-in and check-out times.

Maximum Occupancy

No additional guests are permitted beyond the maximum occupancy of 20 people.
Any additional person may be required to leave the property. Additional or undeclared guests may also result in penalties being imposed by the estate, which may affect the breakage deposit. 
Babies count toward the maximum occupancy of 20 guests. 
If your group includes a child under 2 years of age, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether Aloha 5 is suitable and whether we can accept the booking.

Additional Rules

No smoking indoors or on the decks.
Strictly no pets.
No parties.
No loud music.
No functions or events.
Reduced noise after 22:00.
No bikes.
No quad bikes/4-wheelers.
No drones.
No open fires other than in designated areas.
No drinking on the beach.
No glass around the swimming pool.
No guests from neighboring houses may gather at Aloha 5.
Do not move crockery, cutlery, glassware or other household items between houses.

Failure to comply with estate or house rules may result in the full breakage deposit being retained.

HOUSEKEEPING REMINDER

To keep Aloha 5 fully equipped for every guest, all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other household items must remain at the property. 
If you have booked more than one house, please do not move items between properties.
Missing or misplaced items may be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit.

SWIMMING IN THE OCEAN 

The Mozambique coastline is beautiful, but guests should exercise extreme caution when swimming in the ocean. 
Many beaches lack warning signs or lifeguards, and strong rip currents can occur.
Please do not swim alone and always be aware of changing sea conditions.
There are no lifeguards at the swimming pool or on Ponta Mamoli Beach.

INDEMNITY

Aloha 5, its holding companies and associated companies, persons or trusts shall not be held responsible for injury, loss or damage to guests or their property, however caused. 
The person signing the guest registration form is responsible for paying any outstanding invoices should a payment issue arise. 
Children using the swimming pool must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
