Aloha 15 – Rates and Availability – All reservations are subject to an additional 2.25% lodge/estate administration fee, calculated on the total accommodation value. Not included in the rate slider.

ALOHA 15 COTTAGE

Aloha 15 Cottage at Aloha Beach Estate in Ponta Mamoli features sea and inland views, a swimming pool, and air conditioning in the bedrooms.
Aloha 15 Cottage – Sleeps 4 adults + 2 children under 12.
This smaller 2-bedroom fully self-contained cottage can sleep 4 people, with the option to sleep 2 kids under 12 on the futons in the lounge.
The main house (Aloha 15 main house) can be rented separately or with the smaller cottage, which together sleeps 18 people.
Aloha 15 Cottage sleeps 4 adults and 2 children under 12 years old in 2 en-suite bedrooms.
NOTE: The bedrooms are not under 1 roof – each bedroom is a pod separate from
the main kitchen/ lounge area.
Bedroom 1 –  1 Double bed. En-suite.
Bedroom 2 – 1 Queen bed. En-suite.
Both bedrooms are en-suite, but the sunrise room has only an outdoor shower.
Air conditioning in each room and fans.

ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE & COMMUNICATIONS:
In keeping with the seclusion, tranquility, and the surrounding nature of Blue Footprints, we have not installed DSTV.
However, we have provided a Wi-Fi router with a Vodacom SIM card and an HDMI cable.
Wi-fi at the client’s cost.
These will allow you to access the internet and use your computer to watch your streaming service on the TV.
The staff will load data onto the SIM card with a data bundle package of your choice. The data bundle purchase is at the client’s cost.
The speaker is Bluetooth.
TOWELS: We provide all linen and a hand and bath towel per guest.
Please bring your own beach towels.
LAUNDRY: Linen will be changed weekly to be mindful of the environment. BEACH ACCESS: To access the beach, please use the provided walkways to protect the dunes from erosion.
Aloha 15 cottage is perfectly situated to provide tranquility, exclusivity, and exceptional sunrise and sunset views to its guests.
The beach in front is perfect for walking, swimming, playing, snorkeling, etc., and
the surrounding bush is alive with an increasing amount of birdlife, butterflies, monkeys, and chameleons.
Please note that items left outside overnight are usually very wet in the morning due to high humidity and condensation.
Bean bags left in the sun will become very hot, very quickly, because they are black and absorb heat. Please be cautious when touching them if they have been sunbaked.
Note: although Wi-Fi and air conditioning are provided, there are sometimes technical issues, and they might not work. Because the estate is in a remote area, the problem might not be fixed immediately; it might take a day or more for a technician to come out and get it working.
Do not rely on it if you want to watch sports, etc, nor the wifi if you need to be online to work, etc.
If it does not work, please report the issue to the staff, who will inform the homeowner to try to resolve the problem.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Aloha Beach Estate; otherwise, secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. Thereafter, you will need to use the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around the area.

Staff Fee –

Staff come in in the morning to make beds and clean the dishes, and then in the afternoons.
There is no compulsory staff tip; you are welcome to tip at your discretion, and it is always appreciated.
Their working hours are: Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 16:00 with an hour lunch break at 12:00
Saturday: 8:00 – 12:00
Sunday: Off
On request: If you would like them to work additional hours, the rate is R50 per hour per staff member.
If you would like them to work on Saturday afternoon (13:00 – 16:00), the rate is R75 per staff member.
If you would like them to work on Sunday, the rate is R150 or 600Mzn per staff member.
LAUNDRY: Linen will be changed weekly to be mindful of the environment.
LAUNDRY: Laundry is available at R 150 or 600Mzn a load; please bring your laundry powder and softener as required.
The Estate uses borehole water, which is usually brownish in colour and could stain your washing.
Linen will be changed twice a week to be mindful of the environment.

Other Things To Note –

Please note that the swimming pool does not have a child-safety net.
Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. SIM cards and data in Mozambique can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water, which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the Ponta Malongane village. It is advisable to bring OR buy bottled drinking water.
Please note that we use a septic system and don’t flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.
REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 3000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages, lost keys, and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find any items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so they can notify the homeowner.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm.
Any later and they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.
Please note that no extra guests will be allowed beyond the house’s maximum occupancy; any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners in the estate are fined if additional guests stay at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.
No smoking.
Strictly no pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules, then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.
Housekeeping Reminder.

To help us keep every home perfectly equipped for our guests, we kindly ask that all items — including crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other household items — remain in the house where they belong.
If you’ve booked more than one home, please avoid moving items between them. This ensures each property stays fully stocked and ready for the next guests to enjoy.
Please note that any missing or misplaced items may be deducted from the breakage deposit.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
