CAMPISMO NINHO 23.

Campismo Ninho 23 located in Ponta Malongane is a 4 bedroom 10 sleeper self-catering home. Campismo 23 is conveniently situated in the coastal bush forest, just off the road between Ponta do Oura and Ponta Malongane. 

Sleeping Arrangements

Campismo Ninho 23 sleeps 10 guests in 4 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 – 1 x Double bed – En-Suite with shower. Ceiling fan.
Bedroom 2 – 1 x Double bed – En-Suite with shower. Ceiling fan.
Bedroom 3 – 1 x Double bed. Ceiling fan.
Bedroom 4 – 2 x Sets of Bunk beds. Ceiling fan.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 share one bathroom.

All linen is provided.

Your Space

Campismo Ninho 23 has a comfortable open-plan lounge with TV, DSTV, and HiFi. The dining area has folding doors that lead onto the large deck, which has outdoor chairs and tables and amazing sea views. A gas braai is available and the gas is provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a
Microwave.
Gas stove.
Double-door fridge, and freezer.
(one side is a full-length fridge and the other is a full-length freezer.)
There is a water filter with a booster pump so there is clear water but we still advise that you bring your own drinking water.

There is a communal pool and a restaurant on the estate.

Electricity – We supply electricity to the value of 400 Mets. (+/- R 100.00 at 4 exchange rate) Thereafter electricity is for the client’s account. Top-up vouchers can be bought.

There is a backup generator.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 or 2×4 with a diff lock vehicle is essential for access to the area and to Campismo Ninho Beach Estate, otherwise, secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. Thereafter you will have to use the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff Tip –

There is a compulsory staff tip – R 80.00 per day.
A housekeeper (Esther) comes in daily.

Other Things To Note –

Electricity – We supply electricity to the value of 400 Mets. (+/- R 100.00 at 4 exchange rate) Thereafter electricity is for the client’s account. Top-up vouchers can be bought.
Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village and it is advisable to bring bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system and don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 3000.00 payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages, lost keys, and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R800.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The latest check-out time is
14:30 pm – any later and they will retain the full breakage deposit.  

Please take note that no extra guests will be allowed over and above the maximum occupancy of a house – any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if there are additional guests staying at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit. 

No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
*Service fees are non-refundable.
