Low Season Midweek (Sunday-Thursday) – R 4000.00 per night for a minimum charge of 4 people, plus R 560.00 per person per night thereafter.
Capped at R9600.00 per night.
Low Season Weekend (Friday and Saturday) – R9 600 per night.

NOTE: The bedrooms are not under 1 roof – each bedroom is a separate pod from
the main kitchen/ lounge area.
All bedrooms are equipped with Air conditioning and ceiling fans for added comfort.

Bedroom 4 – 2 x 3/4 beds (transformed into 1 King on request) and 2 x 3/4 beds in bunk bed form with en suite bathroom – Sleeps 4
Bedroom 5 – 2 x 3/4 beds (can be transformed into 1 King on request) and 2 x 3/4 beds in bunk bed form, with an en suite bathroom – Sleeps 4.
*1 baby cot can be provided on request.

Aloha 28 can comfortably accommodate 14 people.

All linens, including bath towels, are provided.

Please note that beds or mattresses from one bedroom cannot be moved to another, as they may get damaged; this is strictly prohibited.

Each bedroom includes a safe for securely storing personal valuables, including passports, cash, and other important belongings.

An added scullery and dining area are a must for added functionality.

Important information:
If you are booking more than 1 house, please note that no outside guests or people from neighbouring houses are permitted to gather or have meals at Aloha 28.
Under no circumstances is this house allowed to be booked for
any function or event whatsoever. This includes birthday parties, weddings, and any other function and/or event.

If the property is booked by a group of young guests, please note that no guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. Passports will be checked before arrival.

SWIMMING POOL: 
Step outside and immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings. Aloha 28 boasts a private swimming pool overlooking the ocean, an outdoor bar with seating, pool chairs, and a covered lounge and dining area with a built-in braai, plus a Guest Toilet for added flexibility and privacy.
Please do not dive into the pool.
All use of the pool is at your own risk.
Parents must supervise all children around the pool area.
Strictly no glass in the pool.
Please rinse the sand off your feet before entering the pool.
(Swimming pool does NOT have safety nets)
Please note that items left outside at night are usually very wet in the morning due to high humidity and condensation.

BEACH ACCESS:
A short 50-meter walk takes you to the pristine beach, where you can enjoy long walks, cycling, kite surfing, and snorkeling at the nearby Frederico’s snorkeling spot, just a five-minute walk south.
After a day at the beach, rinse off under the cleverly designed outdoor shower along the wooden walkway at the house entrance.
Please use the provided walkways to protect the dunes from erosion.

SAFES & PERSONAL BELONGINGS

All bedrooms have safes for storing valuables.
Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings, including cash, passports, jewellery, electronics and other valuables.
Guests are strongly advised to lock valuables in the safes provided and to ensure that bedroom doors are locked whenever rooms are unattended.

Neither the homeowner nor Ponta Malongane Accommodation accepts responsibility for the loss, theft or disappearance of guests’ personal belongings, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This includes items left in bedrooms, communal areas, verandahs or elsewhere on the property.
Guests are encouraged to have appropriate travel insurance covering their personal belongings.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Aloha Beach Estate; otherwise, you can arrange secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer at an extra cost. After that, you will need to use the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around the area.

Staff Payment –
There is a compulsory staff Payment of
R150.00 per day, which includes your day of arrival and departure.
Pay it to the head housekeeper on the day you depart.
There are 2 housekeepers and a gardener at the house.
Please ensure you have enough cash in Rands on your day of departure.
Their working hours are 7:00 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, and from 7 am to 12 pm on Saturdays.
If you would like them to work Saturday afternoon, you need to pay them R75.00 for the afternoon; if you would like them to work on Sundays and Public Holidays, you need to pay them R150.00 each for those days. Their working hours include a 1-hour lunch. The gardener cleans the pool, braai, and outdoor area. He is not required to tip; however, a gratuity is always welcome.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 6,000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. We will deduct any breakages, lost keys, or remotes from this deposit. We will refund the balance to your bank account.
Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

General – 

If you are flying into Maputo. Maputo has large shopping malls with Woolworths, Checkers, Game, etc. There is a grocery store, butchery, and bottle store in Malongane, and numerous restaurants and barracas (bars)

If you don’t have a 4×4 vehicle, you can leave your car on the South African side of the border; the cost is approx R60 per car per day. (rates subject to change)
We will then put you in contact with the guy who does our transfers to get the rates, etc.

Other Things To Note –

Please take note that the swimming pool does not have a child safety net.
Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception can be patchy, but it can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. You can also buy Mozambique SIM cards and data at the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water, which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the Ponta Malongane village It is advisable to bring OR buy bottled drinking water.

Please note we use a septic system, so please don’t flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Guests must bring their own consumables, e.g., food, liquids, mosquito repellent, etc.
Guests can collect keys from the housekeeper on arrival.

The Estate uses borehole water, which is usually brownish in color and could stain your washing.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on your departure day.
Should the house be available, we will deduct R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm.
If you are late, they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.

Please note that no extra guests are allowed beyond the house’s maximum occupancy; any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if additional guests stay at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.

No smoking.
Strictly no pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules, then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Housekeeping Reminder.

To help us keep every home fully equipped for our guests, please keep all items—including crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other household items—remain in the house where they belong.
If you’ve booked more than one home, please avoid moving items between them. This ensures each property stays fully stocked and ready for the next guests.
Please note that we may deduct any missing or misplaced items from the breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, the homeowner, and the booked estate cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and/or death.

Swimming in the Ocean
We want to remind all visitors planning to swim in the beautiful waters of Mozambique.
While Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack warning signs and lifeguards.
One of the most significant dangers is the presence of rip tides.
These powerful currents can quickly pull even strong swimmers out to sea, posing a serious threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, it is vital to remain vigilant and heed any natural warnings, such as sudden changes in water colour or unusually strong currents.
Given these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and avoid swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the power of the ocean.

Indemnity: Aloha 29, their holding companies, or any other associated company, the person(s) or trust, shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to any guest(s), or their property, caused through whatever nature, or by any acts, or any person(s). The person signing the guest registration form will be held liable for payment of all outstanding invoices should any problem with payment occur. Please note that there are no lifeguards at the pool or at Ponta Mamoli Beach. Children swimming in the swimming pool must be kept under adult supervision at all times.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
