Aloha 3 in Ponta Mamoli. Aloha 3 at Aloha Beach Estate is a stunning home that sleeps 10 guests and offers incredibly beautiful views of the ocean, open sky, and natural landscape. Aloha 3 Showcases 5 En-suite bedrooms, a private pool, and direct access to the beach by a private walkway.

Aloha 3 has a lodge-style layout. There are 5 separate and spacious en suite bedrooms.

Sleeping Arrangements

Aloha 3 accommodates 10 guests.
NOTE: The bedrooms are not under 1 roof – each bedroom is pod separate from 
the main kitchen/ lounge area.

Bedroom 2 – 1 Queen-size bed. En-suite bathroom. Air Conditioned. Sea View.
Bedroom 3 – 1 Queen-size bed. En-suite bathroom. Air Conditioned. Sea View.
Bedroom 4 – 1 Queen-size bed. En-suite bathroom. Air Conditioned. Sea View.
Bedroom 5 – 1 Queen-size bed. En-suite bathroom. Air Conditioned. Garden View.
The en-suite bathrooms have a shower, basin, and toilet.
All linen is provided.

It is important to note that beds or mattresses from the beds can not be moved from one bedroom to another as they might get damaged so this is not allowed.

Your Space

Aloha 3 has an architectural layout in a way that the bedrooms are privately situated from one another.
The kitchen, dining, and lounge area overlooks the swimming pool and ocean and is in a separate building to the bedrooms. (Swimming pool Does NOT have safety nets)
TV with DSTV is provided in the lounge area.
Wifi is provided.

A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and includes a
5 Plate gas stove.
Under counter oven.
Microwave.
2 Fridges of 270lt each.
1 Large freezer box.
And all the crockery and cutlery required for self-catering.
There is a separate scullery area.

A backup generator in case the power goes out (this happens from time to time in Mozambique).

There is a built coal braai area.
Please supply your own wood or charcoal to braai.

Frederico’s snorkelling spot is a short 10-minute stroll down the beach.
Ensure you take snorkelling gear along!

Please note that when booking Aloha 3, full payment is required 60 days prior to the arrival date.

Note – although Wifi and DStv and Aircons are provided, sometimes there are technical issues and it might not work. Because the estate is located in a remote area the problem might not be fixed at the same time, it might take a day or more to get it working if a technician has to come out.
Do not rely on it if you want to watch sports etc nor the wifi if you need to be online to work etc.
If it does not work, please report the issue to the staff who will inform the homeowner to try and resolve the problem.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Aloha Beach Estate, otherwise secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post, and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. Thereafter you will have to make use of the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff Fee –

There is a compulsory daily staff payment of R 70.00 per staff member per day.
There are two full-time housekeepers.  
Please pay them on the day that you depart, this includes your arrival and departure date.
You can pay them in Rands.
Working hours: Mon to Fri 7:00 to 15:00
Sat & Sun 07:00 to 13:00

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cell phone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village, and it is advisable to bring bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system, and don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent, etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 4000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm. 
Any later and they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.

Please take note that no extra guests will be allowed over and above the maximum occupancy of a house – any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if additional guests are staying at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.

No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities are strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, Homeowner, and the Estate booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and or death.

Swimming in the Ocean
We would like to extend a crucial reminder to all visitors planning to swim in the beautiful waters of Mozambique. 
While the allure of Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack signpost warnings and are not equipped with lifeguards,
significantly increasing the risks associated with swimming.
One of the most significant dangers to be aware of is the presence of rip tides.
These powerful currents can swiftly pull even the strongest swimmers out to sea, posing a grave threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, it is vital to remain vigilant and heed any natural warnings such as sudden changes in water color or unusually strong currents.
In light of these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and refrain from swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the power of the ocean.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
*Service fees are non-refundable.
