Aloha 3 – Rates and Availability – All reservations are subject to an additional 2.25% lodge/estate administration fee, calculated on the total accommodation value. Not included in the rate slider.

Aloha 3 in Ponta Mamoli. Aloha 3 at Aloha Beach Estate is a stunning home that sleeps 10 guests and offers incredibly beautiful views of the ocean, open sky, and natural landscape. Aloha 3 Showcases 5 En-suite bedrooms, a private pool, and direct access to the beach by a private walkway.

Aloha 3 has a lodge-style layout. There are 5 separate and spacious en suite bedrooms.

Sleeping Arrangements

Aloha 3 accommodates 10 guests.
NOTE: The bedrooms are not under 1 roof – each bedroom is a separate pod from the main kitchen/ lounge area.

En-suite bathrooms include a shower, basin, and toilet.
All linen is provided.

It is important to note that beds or mattresses from the beds can not be moved from one bedroom to another, as they might get damaged so this is not allowed.

Your Space

Aloha 3 has an architectural layout where the bedrooms are privately situated from one another.
The kitchen, dining, and lounge area overlooks the swimming pool and ocean and is in a separate building from the bedrooms. (Swimming pool does NOT have safety nets)
TV with DSTV is provided in the lounge area.
Wifi is provided.

A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and includes a
5 Plate gas stove.
Under-counter oven.
Microwave.
2 Fridges of 270 L each.
1 Large freezer box.
And all the crockery and cutlery required for self-catering.
There is a separate scullery area.

A backup generator in case the power goes out (this happens from time to time in Mozambique).

There is a built-in coal braai area.
Please supply your own wood or charcoal to braai.

Frederico’s snorkeling spot is a short 10-minute stroll down the beach.
Ensure you take snorkeling gear along!

Please note that when booking Aloha 3, full payment is required 60 days prior to the arrival date.

Important information:
If you are booking more than 1 house, no outside guests or people from neighboring houses are permitted to gather or have meals at Aloha 3.
Under no circumstances is this house allowed to be booked for
any function or event whatsoever. This includes birthday parties, weddings, and any other function and/or event.

If a group of young guests books the property, please note that no guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. Passports will be checked before arrival.

Note – although Wi-Fi, DStv, and air conditioning are provided, technical issues can occur, and they may not work. Because the estate is in a remote area, the problem might not be fixed immediately; it may take a day or more to get it working if a technician has to come out.
Do not rely on it if you want to watch sports, etc nor the wifi if you need to be online to work, etc.
If it does not work, please report the issue to the staff, who will inform the homeowner to try to resolve the problem.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential to access the area and Aloha Beach Estate; otherwise, secure parking is available at Kosi Bay Border Post, and a border transfer can be arranged at an extra cost. Thereafter, you will have to make use of the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff Fee –

There is a compulsory daily staff payment of
R 75.00 per staff member per day.
There are two full-time housekeepers.
Please pay them on the day that you depart. This includes your arrival and departure dates.
You can pay them in Rands.
Working hours: Mon to Fri 7:00 to 15:00
Sat & Sun 07:00 to 13:00

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cell phone reception can be a challenge, but it can also be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. You can also buy Mozambique SIM cards and data at reasonable prices at the local market in Ponta Malongane. The Estate uses borehole water, which is usually brownish. If you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village, but we recommend bringing your own drinking water.

Please note we use a septic system, so don’t flush anything other than toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g., food and liquids, mosquito repellent, etc
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 4000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages, lost keys, and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. We will refund the balance to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on your departure day.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm.
If you are late, they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.

Please note that no extra guests are allowed beyond the house’s maximum occupancy; any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate are fined if additional guests stay at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.

No smoking.
Strictly no pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
If you do not adhere to these rules, the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Housekeeping Reminder.

To help us keep every home fully equipped for our guests, please keep all items — including crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other household items — in the house where they belong.
If you’ve booked more than one home, please avoid moving items between them. This ensures each property stays fully stocked and ready for the next guests.
Please note that we may deduct any missing or misplaced items from the breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, the homeowner, and the Estate booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and/or death.

Swimming in the Ocean
We would like to extend a crucial reminder to all visitors planning to swim in Mozambique’s beautiful waters.
While the allure of Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, you must exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack warning signs and lifeguards, significantly increasing the risks of swimming. 
One of the most significant dangers is the presence of rip tides.
These powerful currents can quickly pull even strong swimmers out to sea, posing a serious threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, stay vigilant and heed natural warnings such as sudden changes in water color or unusually strong currents.
In light of these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and refrain from swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the ocean’s power.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
