Aloha 6 – Rates and Availability – All reservations are subject to an additional 2.25% lodge/estate administration fee, calculated on the total accommodation value. Not included in the rate slider.

ALOHA 6

Aloha 6 in Ponta Mamoli. This contemporary showpiece is set for the best of the good life, with 180-degree panoramic ocean views.
Aloha 6 has a lodge-style layout.
It has 5 separate, spacious, air-conditioned en suite bedrooms.
The living area has large glass doors that open up onto a wooden deck with a sunken infinity pool overlooking the ocean just 25 meters away.

Sleeping Arrangements

Aloha House 6 – Sleeps 16 people in 5 bedrooms.
NOTE: The bedrooms are not under 1 roof – each bedroom is a separate pod from
the main kitchen/ lounge area.
Bedroom 1 – 1 King-size, extra-length bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning. 4-poster mosquito net.
Bedroom 2 – 1 King-size, extra-length bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning. 4-poster mosquito net.
Bedroom 3 – 1 King-size, extra-length bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning. 4-poster mosquito net.
Bedroom 4 – 1 Queen-size bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning.  Sleeps 5.
Bedroom 5 – 2 x single beds and a bunk bed with a Loft area; has 1 single mattress. En-suite.
Air Conditioning. Sleeps 5.
All the En-suite bathrooms are spacious and have showers, basins, and toilets.
Each bedroom has shelves and hanging space for clothes.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 DO NOT have mosquito nets.
Aloha 6 – A maximum of 16 people may occupy the house due to overload on the septic tank.
All bed linen and bath towels are provided, but guests need to bring their own beach towels. 
Please note that you cannot move beds or mattresses from one bedroom to another, as they may be damaged.

Your Space

At Aloha 6, the TV lounge (with DSTV Provided), dining area, and kitchen with overhead ceiling fans are open-plan and have sea views. The living area has large glass doors that open up onto a wooden deck with a sunken infinity pool overlooking the mesmerizing skyline and ocean.
A charcoal Weber braai is on the deck.
Please provide your own charcoal.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a
gas-top stove.
Electric oven.
Kettle.
Small electric chopper.
Electric beater.
Toaster.
Nespresso coffee machine. (Take your own small pods )
Sandwich maker.
There is a separate scullery with a
Washing machine.
Chest-deep freezer.
Double-door fridge.
There is also a separate storeroom with a lock-up linen cupboard, a lock-up food cupboard, and a chest freezer.
Ice can be bought from the Barraca shop just outside of Aloha at Cutta Corner.
1 Toilet Paper and a bar of small bath soap are provided per en suite room; thereafter, guests need to provide their own.
Important information:
If you are booking more than 1 house, please note that no outside guests or people from neighboring houses may gather or have meals at Aloha 6.
Under no circumstances is this house allowed to be booked for
any function or event whatsoever. This includes birthday parties, weddings, and any other function and/or event.
If a group of young guests books the property, please note that no guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. Passports will be checked before arrival.
Note: Although Wi-Fi/DStv and air conditioning are provided, technical issues can occur, and they may not work. Because the estate is in a remote area, the problem might not be fixed immediately; it may take a day or more to get it working if a technician has to come out.
Do not rely on it if you want to watch sports, etc., or on the Wi-Fi if you need to be online for work, etc.
If it does not work, please report the issue to the staff, who will inform the homeowner to try to resolve the problem.
Frederico’s snorkeling spot is a short 10-minute stroll down the beach.
Ensure you take snorkeling gear along!

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Aloha Beach Estate, otherwise, secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at an extra cost. After that, you will have to use the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.
Staff Fees – 
There are 3 permanent staff members: Lydia, Martha, and Sam.
Lydia – R 50,00 per day.
Martha – R 50,00 per day.
Moses – R 50,00 per day.
This includes your arrival and departure days.
Please pay (R 150.00 per day) on your day of departure.
The staff working hours are
From: 08 am – 04 pm (Monday to Friday)
08 am – 01 pm (Saturday and Sunday)
Should you require their services outside these hours, there will be an overtime charge of R 50.00 per hour per staff member.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. You can also buy Mozambique SIM cards and data at reasonable prices at the local market in Ponta Malongane. The Estate uses borehole water, which is usually brownish in colour. If you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village, but we recommend bringing your own drinking water.
Please note that we use a septic system and don’t flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Guests must bring their own consumables, e.g., food and liquids, mosquito repellent, etc.
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.
REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 4000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages, lost keys, and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. We will refund the balance to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on your departure day.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm.
If you are later, they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.
Please note that no extra guests are allowed beyond the house’s maximum occupancy; any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate are fined if additional guests stay at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.
No smoking.
Strictly no pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
If you do not adhere to these rules, the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.
Housekeeping Reminder.

To help us keep every home fully equipped for our guests, please keep all items — including crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other household items — in the house where they belong.
If you’ve booked more than one home, please avoid moving items between them. This ensures each property stays fully stocked and ready for the next guests.
Please note that we may deduct any missing or misplaced items from the breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, the homeowner, and the Estate booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and/or death.
Swimming in the Ocean
We want to remind all visitors planning to swim in the beautiful waters of Mozambique.
While the allure of Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, you must exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack warning signs and lifeguards, significantly increasing the risks of swimming.
One of the biggest dangers is rip tides.
These powerful currents can quickly pull even strong swimmers out to sea, posing a serious threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, stay vigilant and heed natural warnings such as sudden changes in water color or unusually strong currents.
In light of these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and refrain from swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the ocean’s power.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
