Aloha 6 in Ponta Mamoli. The best of the good life with 180-degree panorama views of the ocean is the setting for this contemporary showpiece. Aloha 6 has a lodge-style layout.

There are 5 separate and spacious Air Conditioned en suite bedrooms. The living area has large glass doors that open up onto a wooden deck with a sunken infinity pool overlooking the ocean just 25 meters away.

Sleeping Arrangements

Aloha House 6 – Sleeps 16 people in 5 bedrooms.
NOTE: The bedrooms are not under 1 roof – each bedroom is pod separate from 
the main kitchen/ lounge area.

Bedroom 1 – 1 King-size, extra-length bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning. 4 Poster mosquito net.
Bedroom 2 – 1 King-size, extra-length bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning. 4 Poster mosquito net.
Bedroom 3 – 1 King-size, extra-length bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning. 4 Poster mosquito net.
Bedroom 4 – 1 Queen-size bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed. En-suite. Air Conditioning.  Sleeps 5.
Bedroom 5 – 2 x single beds and a bunk bed with a Loft area has 1 single mattress. En-suite.
Air Conditioning. Sleeps 5.

All the En-suite bathrooms are spacious and have showers, basins, and toilets.
In each of the bedrooms, there are shelves and hanging spaces for clothes.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 do not have mosquito nets.
Aloha 6 – a maximum of 16 people are allowed to occupy the house due to overload on the septic tank.
All bed linen is provided as well as bath towels but guests need to take their own beach towels. 

Your Space

At Aloha 6 the TV lounge (with DSTV Provided), dining area, and kitchen with overhead ceiling fans are open-plan and have sea views. The living area has large glass doors that open up onto a wooden deck with a sunken infinity pool overlooking the mesmerizing skyline and ocean.
There is a Charcoal Weber braai out on the deck.
Please provide your own charcoal.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a
Gas top stove.
Electric oven.
Small electric chopper.
Electric beater.
Nespresso Delonghi cappuccino machine. (Take your own Pods)
Sandwich maker.
There is a separate scullery with a
Washing machine.
Chest-deep freezer.
Double-door fridge.
There is also a separate storeroom with a lock-up linen cupboard, a lockup food cupboard, as well as a chest freezer.

Ice can be bought from the Barraca shop just outside of Aloha at Cutta Corner.
1 Toilet Paper and a bar of small bath soap are provided per en suite room, thereafter guests need to provide their own.

Note – although Wi-Fi /DStv and Aircons are provided, sometimes there are technical issues and it might not work. Because the estate is located in a remote area the problem might not be fixed at the same time, it might take a day or more to get it working if a technician has to come out.
Do not rely on it if you want to watch sports etc. nor the wifi if you need to be online to work etc.
If it does not work, please report the issue to the staff who will inform the homeowner to try and resolve the problem.

Frederico’s snorkeling spot is a short 10-minute stroll down the beach.
Ensure you take snorkeling gear along!

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Aloha Beach Estate, otherwise, secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. After that, you will have to use the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff Fees – 
There are 3 permanent staff members, Lydia, Martha, and Samuel.
Lydia – R 50.00 per day.
Martha – R 50.00 per day.
Samuel – R 50.00 per day.
(this includes your day of arrival and departure).
Please pay the (R 150.00 per day) full amount to Samuel on your day of departure and he will distribute the amounts accordingly. 
The staff working hours are
From: 08 am – 04 pm (Monday to Friday)
08 am – 01 pm (Saturday and Sunday)
Should you require their services outside these hours, there will be an overtime charge of R 50.00 per hour per staff member.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village and it is advisable to bring bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system and don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 4000.00 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm. 
Any later and they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.

Please take note that no extra guests will be allowed over and above the maximum occupancy of a house – any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if additional guests are staying at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.

No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities are strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, Homeowner, and the Estate booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and or death.

Swimming in the Ocean
We would like to extend a crucial reminder to all visitors planning to swim in the beautiful waters of Mozambique. 
While the allure of Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack signpost warnings and are not equipped with lifeguards,
significantly increasing the risks associated with swimming.
One of the most significant dangers to be aware of is the presence of rip tides.
These powerful currents can swiftly pull even the strongest swimmers out to sea, posing a grave threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, it is vital to remain vigilant and heed any natural warnings such as sudden changes in water color or unusually strong currents.
In light of these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and refrain from swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the power of the ocean.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
