MEU AMOR WAKENE BEACH ESTATE

Meu Amor is situated on the dunes of Wakene Beach Estate, Meu Amor is made up of four separate Balinese-style chalets overlooking the ocean.

Each chalet comprises two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a kitchenette. Enjoy your own unit with its private dining deck with a sea view, else lounge at the pool, shared by all the chalets, where there is a large kitchen and dining patio available to all residents.

Wakene Beach Estate is located on 18 acres of Coastal Dune Forest with its own beachfront, 2 km North of Ponta Malongane, 7 km from Ponta do Ouro, and 15km from the Kosi Bay border.

Your Space

Meu Amor offers a well-lit built-in charcoal braai area off the main deck and a children’s play area with a jungle gym and swings.

Ideally suited to couples, small families, or a large group who would have the villa to themselves.

Communal kitchen – The Fully equipped kitchen has everything you would expect at home and need to host a function or just for chilling.
This includes a
gas hob,
electric oven,
microwave,
upright fridge/freezer combo,
chest freezer,
display drinks fridge,
kettle, toaster, and double sink.
All the cutting, chopping, cooking, baking, roasting, boiling, and frying utensils you will need to create & serve your culinary masterpieces!

6 Counter barstools (for the chef’s supporters & helpers).

The communal laundry area includes –

Rates

Breakage deposit – R 2000.00
Minimum of 2 nights stay and a minimum of 4 adults charge during low season.
Children 4-12 years – R 200.00 per child per night.
Children 0-3 years – no charge
Minimum of 7 nights stays during peak season. Unit rate applies.

Guest Access –

An off-road 4X4 vehicle is essential for access to the area and Wakene Beach Estate, otherwise, secure parking at Kosi Bay Border Post and a border transfer can be arranged at extra cost. After that, you will have to make use of the transfer company to arrange additional transfers if you need to get around in the area.

Staff  Service Fee – 
Meu Amor at Wakene Beach Estate is serviced by a housekeeper once a day.
There is a compulsory daily staff Fee.
R 150.00 per day per staff member (1).
This includes the day of arrival and the day of departure.
This will be added to your invoice for pre-payment.
The staff make beds, sweep, mop, wash dishes, clean bathrooms, etc.
The staff leave at 14h30.
Clients can discuss earlier departure times with staff.
Tipping other staff members on the estate such as
security and maintenance is not mandatory but is up to your discretion.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case. Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes. Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices. The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the Ponta Malongane village It is advisable to bring OR buy bottled drinking water.

Please note we make use of a septic system, don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper. Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT of R 2000.00 payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account.

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
A charge will be levied for early check-in and late check-outs.
No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Will be sent with the reservation form.
