Villa de Surf in Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique – Experience the ultimate beachfront escape at this newly renovated holiday home in Ponta Do Oura. Boasting panoramic views of the bay that stretches to Mamoli, this stunning property offers direct beach access and three secure parking spaces, perfect for a memorable getaway in this renowned beach and surf destination.

Villa De Surf is a spacious home accommodating up to 14 guests across five air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. 
2025 Rates (subject to change)
Low  Season Midweek – R3000.00 minimum charge of 4 people and R200.00 per person after that (Sunday – Thursday) Capped at R5000 per night.
Low season – R5000.00 per night.
High season – R6500.00 per night.
Peak season – R9500.00 per night.

Sleeping Arrangements

Bedroom 1 – King-sized bed and a private balcony with breathtaking sea views – En Suite. 2 people.
Bedroom 2 – King-sized bed – En Suite. 2 people.
Bedroom 3 – 2 x Tri Bunk Beds (double on the bottom, single on top)—En Suite. It can accommodate 6 people, and it is ideal for children to share it.

The fourth and fifth bedrooms are located in an adjacent building, offering privacy and comfort
Bedroom 4 – Queen-sized bed – En Suite.2 people.
Bedroom 5 – Queen-sized bed – En Suite. 2 people.

Every en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet, and hand basin.

Please take your own beach towels.

Your Space

Villa de Surf is designed for comfort and relaxation, the house features a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with direct access to a wind-protected braai area that offers spectacular ocean views. The main deck, which opens from the living space, boasts a swimming pool, as well as a large dining and seating area, perfect for soaking in the coastal atmosphere.

The property also includes the services of Mika, a live-in housekeeper, who ensures that your stay is smooth and relaxing. For beach days, Mika can set up a large shade awning upon request.

Located within walking distance of local restaurants, pubs, and markets, this beachfront home offers convenience, comfort, and the perfect setting for an unforgettable vacation in Ponta Do Oura.

The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.

Guests can enjoy complimentary WIFI during their stay at Villa De Surf  – Please ask the staff for the password.

Staff Payment –

Mika is the housekeeper and will take care of you during your stay.
Compulsory staff payment of
R 120.00  per day, this includes the day of your arrival and day of departure.
If more than 6 people are occupying the house a second housekeeper is brought in, and she needs to be paid
R120 a day including the day of arrival and departure.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
R 4000.00 Payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded to your bank account. Please report any breakages to the housekeepers before you depart. If you find items broken on your 1st day of arrival, please report them to the housekeeper so that they can let the homeowner know.

Other Things To Note –

Power cuts in the area are a challenge and generally out of our control. Please bring torches just in case.
Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. You can get signals in some locations higher up on the dunes.
Mozambique sim cards and data can also be purchased in the local market in Ponta Malongane at reasonable prices.
The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. Should you prefer bottled water, it is available in the village and it is advisable to bring bottled drinking water.

Please note we use a septic system and don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper.
Guests must bring their own consumables e.g. (food and liquids, mosquito repellent,  etc)
Keys to the unit can be collected from the housekeeper on arrival, Please plan to arrive before 4 pm so you can collect the keys from him.

House Rules –

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Checkout: 10:00 AM
Late check-out Fee – R 1500.00
Late check-out is on request only.
This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure.
Should the house be available, we will deduct the R 1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit. The late check-out time is 3 pm.
Any later and they will retain the full breakage deposit.
Please stick to the check-in and check-out times to avoid issues.

Please take note that no extra guests will be allowed over and above the maximum occupancy of a house – any additional person will be asked to leave. The homeowners at the estate get fined if additional guests are staying at the house. This will affect the refund of the breakage deposit.

No smoking.
No pets.
No parties, Loud music, or events/ functions will be allowed.
Reduced noise after 10 pm.
Should you not adhere to these rules then the Estate will retain the full breakage deposit.

Swimming Pool –
The swimming pool at all the houses has no safety features.
Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities are strictly at your own risk. Ponta Malongane Accommodation, Homeowner, and the Estate booked at cannot be held responsible in the event of accidental injury and or death.

Swimming in the Ocean
We would like to extend a crucial reminder to all visitors planning to swim in the beautiful waters of Mozambique.
While the allure of Mozambique’s pristine beaches may be enticing, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution when venturing into the ocean.
We regret to inform you that many beaches in Mozambique lack signpost warnings and are not equipped with lifeguards,
significantly increasing the risks associated with swimming.
One of the most significant dangers to be aware of is the presence of rip tides.
These powerful currents can swiftly pull even the strongest swimmers out to sea, posing a grave threat to your safety.
Without proper signage or lifeguards to guide you, it is vital to remain vigilant and heed any natural warnings such as sudden changes in water color or unusually strong currents.
In light of these hazards, we strongly advise all visitors to exercise caution and refrain from swimming alone. Always inform someone on the land of your plans,
and never underestimate the power of the ocean.

Cancellation Policy –

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival 70% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival 0% of the accommodation total will be refunded.
*Service fees are non-refundable.
